Sesshin truly begins as soon as we decide to attend. Something is stirred. The subtle effects of sesshin extend through the formal closing and the return to home and the marketplace. Seido connects the theme of the sesshin--Bodhidharma's "Skin, Flesh, Bones, and Marrow"*--with the Twining Vines program at the Empty Field farm.
