Seido follows breadcrumbs into the forest of koans. Under this tree, Nyogen Senzaki spins stories of banquets and boisterous parties. Over in that glade, Joshu tells his student to simply wash his bowl. Through imagery of food and gatherings, koans feed our spiritual hunger.
