It may be a difficult place to practice, but the marketplace—ordinary life—is where the need for our human energy and spiritual life is greatest. The arc of practice opens our eyes to emptiness, suffering and impermanence. After experiencing the ox and all its ways, we’re invited to serve all beings spontaneously, joyfully and without pretense.
