Seido explores Dogen Zenji’s fascicle Zazenshin, sometimes translated as the acupuncture needle of zazen. In it, Dogen says, “When brightness comes, meet it with brightness. When darkness comes, meet it with darkness. Sit in the skin you were born with.”
